Connecting space innovation with business opportunities.
Start your visit to Trollhättan with Space Sweden Summit, a free, independent event taking place the day before Defence inWest.
Organised by Innovatum Science Park, Space Sweden & Aerocluster Sweden, the Summit will build on the discussions initiated at Space Sweden Summit 2026. Its ambition is to connect the capabilities of Sweden’s space ecosystem with market demand—and turn identified opportunities into concrete business.
Space Sweden connects startups, small and medium-sized enterprises, established industry, investors and public-sector stakeholders. Its work centres on how space technologies and expertise can reach customers, attract investment and develop into solutions used in practice.
This includes questions such as how emerging companies can respond to industrial and public-sector needs, how partnerships can accelerate commercialisation, and how investment can help promising technologies reach the market.
Space technology has applications across both civilian security and defence. Satellite communications, Earth observation and navigation can support connectivity, situational awareness and crisis response. These connections make the Summit particularly relevant to delegates exploring technologies with both civilian and defence applications.
Attending both events offers an opportunity to broaden your perspective, discover potential technology partners and continue conversations across the space and defence sectors.
Space Sweden Summit takes place on 2 February 2027 at Lilla Nova, part of the same Nova Arena venue complex that hosts Defence InWest on 3–5 February. This makes it easy to attend both events during one visit to Trollhättan.
Although independently organised, the two events will come together for a joint Dinner Reception on 2 February, offering a great opportunity to network and connect across the space and defence sectors. Registration for the dinner is available through the Defence InWest registration form.
Registration for Space Sweden Summit is separate and free of charge. A link to the Summit’s registration page will be available here as soon as registration opens.
